Hoping for Vegas, Ducks, Sharks and Preds wins tonight.

Oilers will take care of business vs Buffalo.

Well that first half just came true, although Minny did get a point. Now Oilers just gotta take care of business tomorrow.

If the sharks take it now you’ll be 4/4

Should have bought sports select. Usually playing the best case scenario for the Oilers does not pay off...

Hopefully they pull off their first 5 game winning stresk in 6 fucking years

They had two 5 game winning streaks in 16/17

I thought they won like 8 in a row when hitch started

Nah they had 4 in a row, an OTL, and then 1 more. Followed by a 6 game losing streak

We had 4 in a row. A loss. 4 in a row.

Right, I was looking at the wrong time. A win, OTL, loss and then a really good run, 3 in a row, a loss and then 4 in a row. Still no 5 game win streak yet this year though

Has it seriously been 6 years??? That's gotta be some kind of record

Nah they definitely won like 8 in a row in 15/16. Not sure if there’s anything more recent than that. I just know I was at the Slats banner night and it was the 6th win in a row, and then they got a couple more

Edit: okay I looked it up, they had two 5 game win streaks in 16/17

The game was so early yesterday it feels like there was already a day off. I woke up thinking there would be another game today.

It felt like three games in three days. I have no idea where that effort came from, but I want more.

How shitty must it be for Blue Jackets fans knowing you had a bottom team and are so close to the wild card spot and then completely shit the bed? One satisfying thing at the moment is being a playoff spoiler for decent teams!

Especially after going all in and selling your future on a cup run.

Always the spoiler, never the bride

Well, being an Oilers fan, we know exactly how it feels. You just summed up most of our season.

I am just wondering where all the people who knew that Sekera would never play again? He isn't an all start or maybe quite worth his contract but he is showing he can be a NHL d man. Good for him

I'll gladly eat crow when I said I doubt he'll ever be an asset again.. I am thrilled to be proved wrong!

I’ll raise my hand as one of those. Figured he would come back but didn’t figure he would be good for anything when he did. Never been happier to be wrong.
