Help choosing a bath bomb.

My best friend has heard me gush over lush for months now. I would like to get her a bath bomb from there. I've never tried them due to not having a tub (heart breaks silently in the distance). What are your suggestions and why?

I would say get her the intergalactic because of how dark and glittery the water turns. Great smell too. Or the Big Blue because of water color, smell, softness and seaweed that comes out of the bath bomb.

Lush employee here! The bath bombs cover a wide scent range and theatricality. Having a little more information about your friend would help narrow down which bomb would be perfect for her! What color(s) does she like? What does she remind you of? Otherwise people are going to list their faves (which is okay!) but it may not be the best selection for her. If you're just absolutely not sure I would stick to one of these:

Sex Bomb- best seller, flirty jasmine and clary sage give this bomb as nice floral relaxing scent. leaves the water pink!

Sakura - beautiful cherry blossom scent! the bathbomb is white with light blue and pink colored specks, so this doesn't change the bathwater a bright color or have any glitter in it. People who like light clean scents adore this.

Twilight - herbal lavender with pink and purple swirls and lustre. Very calming and helps you relax and fall asleep. Great for people with anxiety or just need something to help their insomnia.

Yoga - looks like a plain orange bathbomb but it's SO beautiful in the water. Looks like a beautiful sunset as it dances around in the bathtub. It's meditative sandalwood scent is grounding and its slow fizzing is almost hypnotizing.

Since everyone is insane in the membrane for intergalactic, I will tell you a little more about it. It's a deep blue bathbomb with swirls of neons and glitter and has the most uplifting scent of peppermint and grapefruit. This will def open up your sinuses or help with any muscle and joint soreness. It's def a fun bathbomb to watch!

Hope this helps a bit!

This helps so very much! Weirdly enough the ones you suggested fit her perfectly. Especially the anxiety one and yoga( she recently started practicing)

Yay! Glad it helped somewhat! If you end up getting her those two, be sure to tell her why you picked them for her :)

How does the Experimenter do sales wise? I know some people love it but I found it so disappointing. The smell is very strange and the bath water turns grey.

level 3

Yeah, the Experimenter is selling, but people aren't as crazy for the scent, and as you mentioned, they are turned off by the end color. Since it's brand new and colorful the initial sales are decent so far. But Intergalactic overshadows Experimenter, by far. Everyone it going nuts for it. Each shop does differently though. And I would not recommended such a unique smelling bathbomb for someone as a gift unless you know prior to purchasing that they like that scent. It's a tricky one!

Intergalactic is currently one of my favorites, pretty dark blue color and sooo much glitter :)

I adore Intergalactic but the smell, I think, might be an acquired taste. I'd go with something a bit less specific in the appeal of its scent, perhaps Fizzbanger, Yoga, Frozen, or Blackberry. I love the scent of Big Blue but like someone else said, that seaweed is too much for some of the uninitiated!

Intergalactic seems more and more appealing to me. Will check at my. Local lush to see if they have it.

Dragons Egg, smells amazing, lots of glitter and a dramatic fizzer.

If you'd prefer something more subtle, I'd go with Twilight.

Intergalactic is a great one, I picked some up to add to my friends christmas gifts and they were a hit! It's a nice scent and the water is really pretty.

Another great one is Fizzbanger, I feel like you can't go wrong with apple scented things.

get her the experimenter, its supposed to be epic! had it in my bath and it was!

Butterball is really good and it was my first bathbomb i tired from them. its really satisfying because it makes your skin super soft!

Oh wow! Seriously thinking of renting a hotel room just to use their bathtub right about now.

While I haven't tried it, there's a shower gel/cream (forget which) version called Avowash. I'm patiently waiting for it to come over here or be apart of Lush Kitchen North America (whenever that launches... please be soon).
