With the ghoulish day around the corner, I am starting to get ready. I hope a lot of kids live in my new neighbourhood. That being said, I'd rather not just give money to Cadbury and Nestle, etc. and shovel chocolate at kids.
What are some alternatives to candy as a Halloween treat? Can anyone think of something remotely healthy that won't get the parents so concerned that they toss it? I'd love to give out apples, but I don't think that would fly since they are not tamper-proof.
